A live EP recorded a scant few weeks after Colin Garcia's joining the band, Yardsale This Week features four songs from the previous year's Electric Western that include radical upgrades: most notably an extended, more pensive take on "While She Sleeps" and the formerly mid-tempo "Willing to Wait", which on This Week is transformed into a driving, howl of a rocker thanks to Garcia's propulsive drumming and Scott's biting guitar licks. The EP also features a song that dates back to Yardsale’s early days - the barroom wailer “You Drive a Truck” - and a ferocious, climactic cover of Faces’ “Glad & Sorry.” This is the sound of a supremely confident Yardsale having found its feet, learned to run, and blasted off into space.
Personnel notes: The title is a reference to the band's ever-evolving lineup. This is the first release to feature the classic Yardsale lineup of Kirk Kiefer (bass), Jacob Lee (guitar, harmonica), Chris Scott (guitar), Andrew Rhinehart (keys and guitar) and Colin Garcia (drums). Pal Justin Eslinger adds additional guitar to "Glad and Sorry" and some tambo to "Truck" and "Cheater Bar."
