Kirk (bass guitar) was born in Pittsburg, PA on June 19, 1983. Raised on a steady diet of solo Robert Plant, Conway Twitty, and a dash of "Addicted to Love" for flavor, he picked up the guitar at age 10 following the start of what would become an unhealthy lifelong obsession with The Beatles.
Taking up the bass shortly thereafter, Kirk played in a number of
local bands such as Timoppin, Sasquatch Flatulence,
Rebels at Heart, Speed Policy, and the Derby City Band before
starting Yardsale. While not
busy leaving messages with the other members of the band telling
them what to do, Kirk likes to water-ski and build small aircraft. He one day hopes to
own a house with a trampoline room and a car with power locks
and windows. (The latter ambition has now been achieved!)
